Balearic Islands - a region of Spain comprising an archipelago in the western Mediterranean with an area of 5014 kmĀ². Balearic Islands have about 1.07 million inhabitants. It is located near the eastern Spanish coast. The archipelago consists of several islands, of which the three largest are Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza.
